Coltsfoot is a powerful healer, that makes it’s appearance early in the spring. Primarily used to detoxify the lungs, the leaves can be smoked or the vapors from boiling it in water can be breathed in.

Coltsfoot in Pennsylvania is easily found in late March, when you see the yellow flower, most easily seen along wet lands and drainage ditches.
